Navigating security at DFW is efficient due to multiple checkpoints in every terminal (A-E). We recommend checking current TSA wait times before arriving to ensure a smooth transition to your gate. Generally, mid-week mornings see the highest volume. For a faster experience, TSA PreCheck at DFW is available in all five terminals, allowing eligible passengers to keep their shoes and light jackets on through screening.
Baggage Retrieval
The baggage claim areas at DFW are conveniently located on the lower level of each terminal, directly below the arrivals gates. Upon landing, follow the wayfinding signs to the designated carousel for your flight. Automated displays will provide real-time updates on your luggage status. If you are transferring between terminals, please note that you must retrieve your bags at your final destination unless you have an international-to-domestic connection requiring re-check.
